you will move East Grey to inform Mr Bonham in answer to his despatch
of the 5th of August (and copy of which accompanied your letter of the 7th of November last) that the Queen's Exequatur is not requisite in order that Mr Haskell may perform the Functions of French Vice Consul's
Agent at Hong Kong and that Mr Bonham is authorized to recognise him as such Agent.
