The shipping statement for the twenty- four hours, ended at 9 a.m. yesterday, showed a

total decrease in freight twenty-four hours of 11,383 tons. Ar Agures, compared with the previous

rivals ́ns a matter of fact were four moret than the previous day, but the extra four vessels were only Chinese steamers on short trips, and bringing a matter of a few piculs of cargo only. The decrease freight occurred only in respect of Hongkong cargo, co vessel having heavy consignments. The drop was over 16,000 tons, wheregs, freight for other ports in- creased by over 5,500 tous,
