Young Somerville has never attended an art school, but has received all his instruction from his father, Mr. Charles Somerville. In the Old Ford Farm at Ashford, portions of which were built nearly 500 years age, and in which the Somerville family live, the boy has his studio. "Three years ago," he said yesterday, "I won the Silver Star of the Royal Drawing Society at the Guildhall. Last year had a still life accepted by the Royal Academy and also exhibited at Liverpool, Huddersfeld, Derby, and at the Royal Institute, Piccadilly."
