At the Marine Court yesterday. ·he- fore Lieut-Commander G. F. Hole, R.N., two mistresses of cargo boats were fined 88, with the alternative of five days" hard labour, for mooring their boats in such a manner as to cause an obstruction to the O.S.K. wharf.

At the same Court, the master of a passenger boat was fined $5, or five days' hard labour in default, for a breach of the conditions of his passenger licence, by carrying cargo other than passengers' Luggage, namely five bags of sugar. The mistress of a passenger boat was fined the same sum for a similar offence."

Lieat-Commander G. F. Hole, R.N., imposed a fine of 85, with the alternative of five days' hard labour, on the roaster af the steam-launch Taikoo Sim at the Marine Court yesterday, the defendant having moored his launch on the outside of two other launches alongside the s Protesilaus.
