It is significant that the Charleston has been banned at the Piccadilly Hotel, not on grounds of morality, regarding which some people have denounced it but because it is ugly and rough and afrial to the tamper. The Piccadilly in' management say they are not going future to have their patrons kicked and buffeted and orushed when in search off a quiet dinner and dance.
