Yesterday's returns showed a consider- able increase of freight compared with that for the preceding twenty-four hours. The total increase was 11.899 tona. Cargo tor Hongkong alone showed an increase of 12,000 tons, but there was a dtop of 1,057 tons in that for porta beyond.
