Feature of the returns was the entry of 12,000 tons for ports beyond by the East Asiatic Company's new motorship Den- mark; and 10,683 tons, also for ports be- yond by a Japanese vessel.

Pembrokeshire (British) from Karateu with an entry for Hong- kong, but 8,300 tons of beans and 120 tons of other cargo for ports beyond"; the 8.8. Apoey (British) from Saigon with 2,100 tons rice, 800 tons of general cargo and mail; the Chili (British) from Shanghai and Tsingtao with 2,200 tons of cargo; the m.3. Danmark (Danish) from Copenhagen and Singapore with 300 tons of general cargo and 12,000 tons for porta beyond; the s.s. Fest Chopaka (America) from Los Angeles and Shang hai with 1,412 tons of gasoline and kero- seng and sundries and 4,057 tons of similar cargo for ports beyond and the Toyooka Mary (Japanese) from Singapore with 373 tons of general cargo: and timber and 10,088 tans for ports be yond.
