LEAGUE HONOURS.
There were no games in the Hongkong Cricket League on Saturday, the matches arranged being friendlies, in consequences of the important match on the H.K.C.C. ground. Selected XI v. The Rest. sequently the positions in the Lougue Table remained unchanged from those published last Monday.
Con.
This afternoon. however, the Royal Navy 1st XI now at the top of the First Division, are likely to make certain their position as leaders. for they are down to meet the Royal Artillery in their Inst League match of the season. If the Nary win they will gain three points, bringing their total up to 21; while if they lose, which they are not likely to do, they will still retain the lead, although they will not stand so good a chance of win- ning the championship of their Division, for Kowloon are at present one game less played and three points behind, and have two more to play. If the Navy win they should safe for League honours, for while the K.C.C. will probably win one of their matches, that with the Craigengower Club. their other match with the H.K.C.C. is not so certain. If the Navy win, the K.CC. will have to win both their outstanding games to become equal the Navy leaders with the Navy, and only draw, the K.C.C. will still have to win one and draw one to become level or win both to secure the League honours.
Tc-day's match of the Royal Navy 1st XI. v. the Royal Artillery has been ar ranged to take place on the Kowloon C.C. ground.
In the Second Division, the K.C.C. 2nd XI will have to win their outstanding
game with the H.K.C.C. and II. in
order to make sure of the leading posi- tion, for if they lose or even draw the H.K.C.C. d XI have a chance to win the Second Division.
The outstanding League fixtures of the teams at the top of the League Tables
are:-
Kowloon 1st XL-H.K.C.C. (away),} Craigengower (away).
H.K.C.C. 1st XI-Kowloon (home), University (away), R. A.. (home), Chinese B.C. (away).
K.C.C. 2nd XI.-H.K.C.C. 2nd XI. (home).
