ARRIVAL OF A TOURIST SHIP.
The ss. Helgenland, the Red Star liner, arrived here yesterday morning, with her 400 round the world tourists. | Local arrangements for are being made by the American Express Company. The tourists were divided into four groups, each of which bad a set pro- gramme in front of it.
The first group, who had time at the Hongkong Hotel, were free to roam where they liked all day, and local shop. keepers spent a busy time in minister- ing to the needs of the visitors.
The second group left the Belgenlaud at 7.30 .m., and left on the Macao stramer. Tiffin was served on the Esteamer, and at Maeno the tourists were provided with guides and visited local places of interests. This party returned to Hongkong about 6 o'clock, and re- turned to the liner for dinner.
The third party visited the Peak" in the morning, and Repulse Bay in the aftertioon, while the fourth and last Broup took cars and had a 70-mile drive: through the New Territory-
