On Saturday, all the cricket matches which were down for decision were play- ed to a finish, except the junior league game between the Hongkong C.C., and the Royal Engineers, which ended in a draw.

Playing at home, the Indian R.C. de feated the Royal Artillery by 43 runs with one wicket in hand. The visitors batting first acored 155 rung, and the bari side retired with 201 runs for the loss of nine wickets. For the BLA.. Capt. Parkes was the top scorer with 43 runs, and for the I.R.C. A. H. Madar with the

same number.

LEAGUE TABLES.

There were four matches in the Hong. kong Cricket League on Saturday three in the First Division and one in the Second Division. Of these, all the First.

Division games were played to a finish, but the Second League match between the H.K.C.C. 2nd XI, and the P.E.'s resulted in a draw.

Kowloon, although having no games in either division, still retain the leader- ship in each half, but the Navy, through defeating the Chinese Recreation Club, kave once again drawn loveland, are equal leaders with the K.C.C. Both clubs here pow played exactly the sante number of matches, have won the same. number and drawn the same number. Neither club has lost a game and at pre and the visitors 99 runa. For the home sent it looks as if there will be in close side R. G. Robertson was top scorer with fight between them at the finish for final 33rubs, and for the visitors, W. Mleadership in the premier division. Gittins with 30.-

PR.C. UNIVERSITY. The University 2nd XI visited the Police Recreation Club and were defeat ed by 87 runs. The Police scored 156 rune

In the Second Division, the H.K.C.C. move to second position, through draw ing with the B.E.'s, but would have been level with the leaders (Kowloon End XI) if they had won Saturday's match. Other positions in the Second Division remain unchanged from last week. date are
