[BY CADOFYDD)
There will certainly be a crowded house at the Theatre Royal to-morrow night, when the H.K.BA. bold, their second tournament of the season.
Interest wil centro chiefly on the fifteen-round bout between C.P.O. Jim Cartlidge, the lightweight champion of the Colony, and Stoker Morris, of H.M.S, Hermes. It will be, I think, a good fight, and opinion in boxing circles in the Colony is varied. Both men have a large following of admirers.

On Saturday, a field of close on twenty enjoyed a capital run with the drag which had been laid from the Kennels over a good, galloping course towards Ta" Ku Ling and back, the distance being ap proximately 4 miles. It was a fine day for secat and the pack never left the

Cartlidge has a very "ane record. lus fought 194 fights, drawn in two ада lost only five. Among notable
victories successes are Arthur Lomax, Liverpool, Walter Rossi, ex featherweight champion of Wales, Joe Bassell, bantamweight champion of Wales, featherweight Atert Riches, amatour champion of England, Billy Mathew, da Sousa's "residence. ex-featherweight champion of Europe, Joe Conn, Plymouth, and Curley Walker, ex-featherweight champion of England He has lost to such men as Johnny Curley, the present featherweight champ pios of England, and Danny Frush. His record in the Service is a very fine one. He was featherweight champion from 1019 to 1922, lightweight. RN. and K. M. 1928, Imperial Service 1923, and the Atlantic Fleet, 1020, 1993, Recently be defeated André Dupré, the ex-feather. weight champion of France.
On Sunday, scent was again good and followers were treated to three enjoyable runs with the drag. The first line took them from Potts' bungalow atross the river, the "kit" being in front of Mr.
Stoker Morris' has had over one hundred contests and has never been knocked out. His notable successes are, a draw with Mike O'Connor, the middleweight cham- pion of West Canada, defeat of the middleweight champion of the R. Ne and R.M. in 7 rounds, draw with Seaman Hardy, and knocked out Tom White- house, Birmingham, welterweight cham- pion of the Midlands in rounds. In a large number of contests he ceded weight. It is also stated that he caused A. B. Ewin, of the Herver, the present welter weight champion of the Colony, to retire in seven rounda
Hounds were then laid on at the back of the Cheery 'Ole. They soon picked up the scent and, leaving the Portuguese Golf Course on the right, made a bee line for the hills.
Here the quarry'
had swung to the right and skirted the back of the Golf Course. "running to earth close to the brick-workss, after a fast spin of 3 miles.
The final line took the field through the Fanling Valley towards Lok Mana until the Sumchun River was reached. where hounds swung left-handed and ras hack to the vicinity of the Golf Course, finishing close to where the second ran commenced.
