Playing on the Navy "B" ground, the "B" team gare way to the "C" in the second half of the game. From the spectators' point of view the "B" were on top all the time; Li Chong Lung in their goal practically giving the game to "C" At the interval the "B" team were leading by the only goal scored, through Tang Sui Hung. After change of ends, Tin Lap Fat, Mak Kwong Fung and Lav On Wing scored for the team while Ko Sik Wai scored for the "B" team.

After leading by two goals to one at the interval, the Drums Reserves went down to the University on the St. Joseph's ground by three goals to two. Brothers opened the score for the Drums. and Smith put them further ahead. Guterres scored for the Students before the interval. T. K. Jap and Guterres scored for the University after the change of ends and with no reply from the Drums, the University won as stated above!
