The Craigengower Cricket Club, he said, were to be congratulated on their achievement in topping the League this year. He considered that for a Club of five years standing they had done won- derfully well. They had won two open championships, and last year were run ners-up, and that took a lot of beating (Applause.) 2

3

He hoped that the championship pen- nant which was flying in the Club would be a permanent thing, and that the mem- hers would do their best to keep it flying, as some other Clubs would do their best to get it.

Mr. Gow also expressed his thanks for

the honour paid by asking Mrs. Go to present the trophy and medal, and wish. ed the Club every success in the coming years. (Applause)

Mr. Bradbury also expressed bis thanks on behalf of his wife. He said that all would agree that the prizes were hand-

Bonie. Quite a lot of the prizes had been given by members and friends of the Craigengewer Cricket Club and he would take that opportunity to thank them for their generosity.

He referred to Mr. Cow's remarks and extended an open invitation to the visitors at the same time and for the same purpose next year, and asked them to bear the invitation in mind,

Dancing took place at night.
