Six-The verdict in the Cartlidge Dupré contest at the Theatre Royal came as a complete surprise to me-as it did, I imagine, to all those others among the spectators who have an adequate know. ledge of the game. I have been a follow- er of boxing for the last twenty-five years, at Home and elsewhere, and have en boxers of all classes in action under the all" maner of auspices, from National Sporting Club to boxing booths of the fit up travelling variety. C ground on Saturday, resulting in a win for South China by two clear goals. South China, who have predominated on the football field in Far Eastern Olym piads, have been challenged by the Nor thern Chinese to decide which shall re- present China in the Soccer game at the coming Olympiad at Manila.. South China Amateur Federation has arranged for a serious of matches be tween South and North China teams, and Hongkong will witness games be- tween these teams on Tuesday and Wednesday
