The 1. & Oss. Sardinia, which arrived here on Friday, brought four Arab stal· lions from Bombay Two of them- bay and a grey were aged four years and two. also a grey and a bay, were five years of age. They are bound for Manila, having been purchased by the American military authorities from one of the Indian Army stock farms, it is beffered.
The horses were consigned to the American Express Company here by the American Consul-General in Bombay for transhipment to Magila.
The Manager of the American Express Company made arrangements with the Hongkong Jockey Clah that the horses. should be stabled at Causeway Bay until ready for shipment by the Blue Funnel ...ficienus, which sailed from bere on Saturday afternoon.
