I have not been a long jobber. I have not sold a single lot of Ground, save one, at the special request of Messrs Dent & Co. and the bonus received therefore was barely equivalent; yet, on retrospection, it is evident I never could have built on all my Lots, unless perhaps I meditated erecting buildings of the worst possible class, of which this Town is already too crammed.
