Gentlemen,

The tenure on which land is held in this Colony having been for some time a subject of consideration by Her Majesty's Government, His Excellency the Governor has received instructions from the Right Honorable the Secretary of State for the Colonies to form a Committee for the purpose of making the necessary inquiries.
