Mr. Webb (President of the Board of Trade) announced in the House of Cam mons recently in reply to Sir A. Shirley Benn (.. Mr. Hugh Dalton.
Sir Harry Goschen.

On that basis the takings for the first months of 1921 should have been a little over 19 million taels. They are, in fact, nearly 15 million, and by comparison with 1923 at least two millions greater, after making allowance for the higher tariff."

Mr. Webb said all the topics referred to by Sir A Shirley Benn would be within the scope of the reference. That would be made clear when hon, members had an opportunity of reading the explanatory memorandum which would be circulated. The memorandum referred to by Mr. Webb is as follows:-
The first question to which the atten: tion of the Committee should be directed is the present position of British overseas trade and the prospect of British partiş cipation in the markets of the world being
such as to easure sufficient and con tinuous employment and a satisfactory standard of living in this country. The examination of tendencies and develop ments in the markets of the world and

The days in which we live render it more difficult to maintain a con- dition of perfect health all the time. The system gets "run-down"" with rush and worries.
Hence the necessity for a health-build- ing medicine--one which will assist the restoration of health and will build up the system. Health-building is greatly facilitated by the regular use of Beecham's Pits.
A sound digestion and a perfect assimilation are the foundations of Good Health. You may have these by taking
