After hearing argument the Court dis missed the apjent, thereby affirming Mr. Justice Bowlli's judgment.
Laird Justice Bankes said the issue do. pended not upon Divoge Court practice as to costs, but upon the common-law doctrin affecting a husband's duty to provide a wife with ** prerasuries 2 Applying that doctrine to this case, the wife was not the husband's agent, and had nd authority in the circumstances to pledge his crelit.
