Risk to the pilot is an undeniable factor. The risk to the driver of a rail or a road vehicle is relatively insigni ficant. Alotor buses, taxi cabs, and rati way trains are a strongly built, and their anchanism is so robust, that reason. able eare redvers risk of breakdown, to a very small point; but, what is far more! important, breakdown is not fraught with danger. It is possible to run a matur hus or a railway service with low grade vehicles; the driver's safety is not imperilled: if there is a stop on the rofil and the driver, cannot put matters. right he sends" a message to the garage.

He will have to fly by night as well as by day, and in all weathers..
With regard to the policy of the coming year the Council decule it would pay chief attention to the following problems: () The Indigenous Church; (2) Rural Life (1) Home: (4) Investigation and Co-ordination of Industrial Work; and (5) the continuance of the study of International Relations. Popular and religious education are also to receive special emphasis.
