Taikoo Nomads were entertained at the Civil Service Club on Saturday when an interesting friendly match was played, which resulted in an easy easy win for the home hide by 140 runs. The Civil Service men went to the wickets first and scored 213 for nine, Hamilton and Smith! both getting over the half century mark with 53 each, the former retiring and the latter being not out. Taikoo found the bowling much too strong for them and they were only able to make. Gruns, Sara and Edmonds taking four wickets „each for 21 and 23 respectively.
