The Royal Garrison Artillery were 26 not out. 4. H. Madar was the hero defented at Kowloon by the Kowloon first of the day, getting 3 wickets for 5 runs eleven on Saturday in a First League and carried his bat for an unfinished fixture. At one stage it certainly looked innings of 52.
Scores: as if Kowloon was going to get a walk over. The gunners sere all cut for 58 and there were: sanguine hopes that the home side would win easily. The home batsmen, however, caused considerable anxiety and after the fall of the first wicket just after double figures had been reached the next three wickets fell with no addition to the score-sal-the-gunners Look fresh hope. The tail saved the situation, and Duncan, Lindsell, Hyde and Pestonji pulled the watch through to safety. Lindsell was top scorer: with 39 for nine wickets. Fletcher and Pestonji bowled well for the home side.
