Craigengewer went down very badly in their first league fixture with the Hong- kong Cricket Club on Saturday on the Club ground, the home side winning by seven wickets and 183 runs. The bowling of the visitors was exceptionally weak and the Club men were able to do aw they pleased with it, Claxton, after making n century, retired, whilst More and Owen Hughes scored 18 and 61 respectively. Craigeagower, in their efforts to cope with the batting, used up seven bowlers. Craigengower could not face the Club bowling, and they were soon out for 35, Webster having the best average with three wickets for live "rujas.
