TUSH FOR HOMEWARD PASSAGES.
The¦ Calcutta : Stuterninn, understanda that there has been an extraordinary rush for nasanges home during the spring of next year. Already the ships of the P. 40. and B.I. fleets sailing from Bombay are booked up to the middle of May and July. Practically the same, position prevails as regards the P. & O. and B.1. sailings from Calcutta, the ac- commodation being fully booked up to April. Passages are available, however, on ships sailing from Bombay and Calcutta in December and January. The big ships of the F. & Q. Co-Narkunda, Waldern, Hollon and Mulojawill be| employed on the Australing run and the demand for passages from Australia i such as to leave a very small margin för India The City Line stramers from Calcutta too are booked well forward It is thought that the Empire Exhibition at Wembley is responsible to some extent for the Honus bookings.
