TEXTILE TRADE LABOUR DEMAND FOR INQUIRY.
The Executive Committee of the National Association of Unions in the Textile Trade met in Bradford on September 29th, ant discussed the resolutions of the Council of the Bradford Chamber of Commerce for an inquiry into the causes of unemployment in the wool textile trade. The conference was held in private, but Mr. E: H. Gates, who is leader of the employers movement for the inquiry, was invited to address the trade union delegats, and he also answer- ed, a number of questions, At the con- clusion of the conference it was announced that the following resolution had been 330- animously passed.
