The Hon. Mr. Fletcher was the person and everywhere, and dus mainly to his fication of energy, He was bere, there activities, assisted by the Rev. G. S. There is a school of men whom the police suspret as having been in league with the pirates of the War Ning but they exanct be found. The next point is if this is so should not the crew be punished for disobedience of the Regulations. Their gaarters are on the top deck behind the grill and, according to the Regulations, they are strictly forbidden to have any passengers in their quarters. From what could bo gathered by a representative of this paper who visited the ship yesterday, it appears to have been castomary for the crew to let out their quarters to pass gery who were prepared to pay for them

Regarding the first clase accommoda tion, which is in front of the grill on the top deck, the state rooms are placed that it would be impossible "for their occupants to take part in an attack These state rooms are barred aff from the deck by a grill, and this grill, it is understood, was locked when the piracy took place. There is, however, on the same deck in front of the main grill one four, berth room. This room is quito distinct from the state rocras and is situated outside the grill which leads to the state rooms, It adjoins the Chief.
During the interval refreshments were served on the lawn. At the conclusion of the sporta Mrs. Flatcher distributed the prizes and Mr. E. Ralphs, Inspector of Schocks, thanked both host and hostess for the kind way in which they had entertained them and for the excellent manner in which the Hon. Mr. Fletcher and managed the sports.
