I have the honour to acknowledge receipt of

your letter of the 28th February last, enclosing

two Memoranda from Lieutenant Colonel

Phillpotts, from which it seems that

a sum of $1,615.11 is to be considered as already expended

in repairing the Barracks at Stanley, and that it is

proposed to expend on them a further sum of

$3,067.01, making a total sum of £4,683.12.11 for this service.
