I have nothing to report by this Mail, with regards to Macao, where the utmost tranquillity has hitherto prevailed. Lieutenant-Colonel João d'Almeida, whose appointment in your Lordship's Despatch No 150 of the 22nd December last, and who arrived by the last Mail, has taken his seat as third member of the Council, in charge of the Government of Macao.
