I have the honor to transmit herewith for Your Lordship's information the Reports and Certificate of the Officers appointed to examine the Funds in the Colonial Chests on the 26th December, last, being one of the examinations directed to be made at an uncertain period, and without previous notice.
In obedience to the instructions of the Lords Commissioners of Her Majesty's Treasury, they have compared the amount found by them with the Balance shown on that day in the Books of the Colonial Treasurer, and
