The following communiqué was issued by the Colonial Office last month:--
The preliminary arrangements for the Imperial Economic Conference, which is to be held in London in October next, are now so far advanced that is possible to indicato broadly the constitution of the Conference and the scope of its
programme.
It
is expected tint the United Kingdom, the self-governing Dominions and India will be represented, the delegates of each Government being accompanied by the necessary expert advisers. It is also con- templated that the Conference will include representation of the Colonies
