I am doubtful about the propriety of interfering in this matter. But considering the peculiar circumstances, perhaps a copy of this letter may be forwarded to him with instructions to inquire & report, and the writer so informed.
The appointment of administrators by the former Governor under very peculiar circumstances is noted. It may be necessary to consider whether any action should be taken in this regard.
