The Postmaster General thinks
that the Bill of Costs in this case,
amounting
to £95. 5-201 which has
been delivered to the Postmaster of Hongkong by the recently acting Crown Solicitor of the Colony, is exorbitant,
a
fraudulent
case in which a Penalty of £100 only has been recovered; and his Lordship begs, therefore, to bring the matter under the notice of Earl Grey for any inquiries which his Lordship may deem it expedient to make on the Subject through the Governor of
Hong Kong.
Governor.
I have the honour to be,
Your Lordship's
humble servant
Molesworth
