The racing throughout the meeting was not fast, buit - one or two exciting finishes were witnessed, particularly in the Gymkhana Stakes and in the mile and a quarter handicap, in which Mr. Towers'' Mosaic Tile made a bold bid for honours Mr. Matcham rode the pony on both occasions, finishing third in the Gym- khana Stakes and second in the mile and
