I am commanded by the Lords Commissioners of Her Majesty's Treasury to transmit to you, for the information of Earl Grey, the enclosed Letter from the Secretary to the Board of Customs, dated the 3d Instant, together with the Enclosure thereof, consisting of Five copies of the 8th Supplement to the List of Copyright Works, requesting that the same may be forwarded to the Governor of Hong Kong, in order that effect may
be given in that Colony to the Provisions of the Act 8th and 9th Victoria, Cap: 93, sec: 9; and I am
to request that you will move Earl Grey to cause the requisite Communication on the subject thereof to be made to the Governor of Hong Kong.
