ME. R. E. BELILIOS,

.

We regret to announce the death, in London, on Tuesday, at the age of forty-

two

years, of Mr. R. E. Belilios, Jarrister-at-law. The news was received

the Colony yesterday morning by Messrs. Tinstend and Davis, agents Cor the, Belilius Estate. There had been previous timation that Mr. Relilios, (who went home Inst May) was unwell so that the bus that he has died of heart failure will be a severe shock, es- pecially to his mother. Mrs. Belilios is one of the Colony's oldest residents and is staying at the Hongkong Hotel.

Mr Raphael Emanuel Bélilios was the only surviving.on of the late Hon. Mr. E. R. Belilios. C.M.G., in big day large pumpetty, owner in the Colony and a leading opium merchant at the time

when the opun trade was an important sze. Mr. E R. Beliliós presented to the Colony the Below Girle School and he also established a reformatory. He built Kingsclere à private residence but unver heed in it.
