It will be recalled that, after the death þi Dr, G. P. Jordan, farly in the year,

the Hon. Sir Paul Chater gave $3,000 to St. Stephen's Church and $10,000 for a Tordan Memorial Library at Hongkong University. The Memorial Library will be opened by Mrs. Jordan, on Friday of jext week, and H.E. the Officer Adminis Bering the Government (Mr. Claud Severn, O.M.G.) will unveil a portrait of the late!
