I am directed by the Officer in Charge of the Commissariat, to request advances of Money on account of the Parliamentary Grants for defraying Expenses of the Department of Superintendent of Trade and Consular Establishments under his supervision, and to keep separate Accounts to be audited by the Treasurer of the Expenditure of these Advances, not considering any Surplus that may remain unexpended of the Grants for this Branch of the Service as applicable to Expenditure of the Colonial Government.
