assistance of the Comptroller and
Audit-General's Department for the Year, any
definite Adjustments of the Estimates of this Colony does not seem to My Lords to
be requisite.___ But I am further to state that My Lords, According to the nature of the Services to be defrayed, would not deem it objectionable that from and after the 31st of March 1848, any future casual Surplus of Funds which might be derived from any of the Communal Parliamentary Votes, should be considered
available for the ensuing Year,
and be included as
such in the
estimated Ways and Means of the
Local Government.
I am also to state that
it will be advisable that the Governor should be instructed to address explicit Requisitions to
