CLERKS.
The Secretary for Chinese Affairs (the Hon. Mr. E R. Halifax) yesterday issued the terms of an agreement reached with the Tally Clerks Association which was one of several labour organisations to present wages demands at the end of March. The agreement reached is in the following terms:-
1-0 a.m. to 6 pm, with two hours off

HONGKONG SHIPBUILDING. LARGE OIL CARRIER LAUNCHED.
