I have the honour to acknowledge receipt of your letter of this date with its enclosures, conveying remarks of the Committee of audit on the surplus brought to Account at the close of the last year.
At the time of bringing this Money to account, a Memorandum was supplied in explanation of its accumulation, which I think was attached to the Account.
