I have the honour to Report to you for the information of His Excellency the Governor, that I have satisfactorily ascertained that at the present time there are not any shells or rockets for sale in Hong Kong.
Messrs Bowra & Humphreys Store have a few shrapnel shells, and a few hand grenades not loaded, intended for English vessels "for the Court".
