The following regulations which have bosa agreed upon between the Post Offices.. of Ceylon and the Colony for disposal of undeliverable parcels, have come into fores from 1st, November 1981:-.
In the absence of a deflaite request for abin-loamen, a parcel will at the expiration of 30 days from date of its receipt in.Clyde, or at dørs-in-Hongkong (except in the case of a Poste Eostanta parcel), be returned to the amdor withous previous notification and at his expense, and a parcel which bears alternativo addres will be bald in Ceylon at the disposal of the first addressed for 18 days before being tenderexi for delivery to the second addresSEO.
Parcel Post Service to Poseh and places beyond Nanning is itemporarily suspended.
The Parcel Post Service from Egypt to Smyrna is suspended until further notice.
