The R.M.S. Monteagle arrived at Moji on Nov. 4th, at 11 am left there the «following, morning at 3 a.m., and was dus nt Kobe yesterday (Sunday); at 6 th, 1.

The P. & O, s-s. Sumali left Singapore for this port on November 4th, at 0.30 a., and is due here on November 9th, at About noon.

The N.Y.K. 3.5. Sandki Muru (Calcutta line) left Kobe for Hongkong vid Osakis. and Moji on November 4th, and is expect ed here on November 19th.

The Dodwell Castle line 8.8 Bowes, Castle which sailed from New York on September 22nd in Panama for the Far East has arrived at Yokohama, and is expected here on the 20th inst..

NEW VESSELS LAUNCHED BY

W. 8. BAILEY & CO., LTD.

On 29th ultimo Messrs. W. S., Bailor & Co. launched from their yard at Kow. loon a single screw steel tug boat 79ft. long by 18ft. 8 inches beam and with com. pound surface condensing engines, of 200 horze-power.

On the 2nd inst., the firm launched a single serem motor lighter 75' long-x-18ft beam and fitted with a 90 brako horse- power "Kromhout" motor.

Both vessels are to the order of the

Anglo-Saxon Petroleum Co. of Singapore.

Mears. Bailey have also handed over the twin screw motor lighter Paz, 93ft. long by 9ft. beam and fitted with twin sets of 60 horse-power motor. This vessel is for the North Negros Sugar Co., Manila.
