THE LOSS OF THE T.K.K. TOKUYO MARU
The Tove Kisen Kaisha steamer Tokuyo Mari, whose destruction by fire is re- ported in our cables while on a voyage from Valpariso to Hongkong, was quite s-new-reetel-cooatructed only last year. to the was-n freighter of 8,500 tons and it is thought that the fire must have broken- soon after she left Portland. The vessel would most likely have been carrying a e-cargazhie nitrates from South America
and lumber from Portland.
