Although the Surveyor General has reported that only 1/5 of an acre is available for building purposes, and that the opinion is £5 per acre, I have determined, at the request of His Lordship, to allow him the entire allotment at a nominal Rental of one dollar per annum, as it is made use of solely for religious or educational purposes.
I have therefore to solicit Your Lordship's approval of this concession, which I thought reasonable on the grounds set forth by the Bishop in his letter herewith enclosed, which I consider worthy of your Lordship's consideration.
