His Excellency the Governor having been pleased to curtail a portion of the Establishment of this Department, I have been directed to inform you that the office hitherto held by you under the denomination of Clerk of Registry and Keeper of Records is abolished from the 30th Ultimo, as a saving to Her Majesty's Government.
