I have the honour to acknowledge the receipt of your Excellency's Despatch No 9 of the 9th Instant with its enclosure, being copy of a letter from Captain Koppel to yourself dated the 8th Instant, and to acquaint you that it will accompany your letter No 19 of the 8th which I have already informed you will be transmitted to England by the Mail of 24th Instant.
His Excellency was enclosing a letter from Senhora Maria Thereza de Arca-valle, Governess of Macao, &c.
