Of course these accounts, being accounts" for the ́calendar year 1919, did not include the accounts for the ball which was held there on Twelfth Night, "As they would see from the general account, for the year 1919 they recorded in the receipts sa item relating to the balance of War Bond drawing account, representing the interest which was derived in respect of the War Bonds, and that the War Bond drawing took place under the auspices of the Society, and with the approval of the War Bond Com mittee that sum was placed to the credit of that Society.
