The Ono Designs got away to a fair start with Daphne in the lead which she held to Channel Rooks. The order on the run down to Cat Rock and on to the mark boat was Daphne, Haleron, Ailsa and Bonita. Bonita had bad luck at Kowloon Point in losing the wind; a boat to leeward of her getting away whilst she lay becalmed. Daphne held her lead all round the course and secured Ails, after making up considerably on 1.49; 21 her third win, Halcyon being second. the leaders, lost the wind and finished hover recovered from her bad luck at Kowloon Point and was last.

FIGHTING IN QUEEN'S ROAD
OVER BROTHER'S DEBT OF 30 CENTS.
Two Chinese were, yesterday, charged before Mr. N. L. Smith with causing an -obstruction in Queen's Road by fighting and thus bringing a crowd together. They pleaded guilty to fighting. #
Asked why they fought, the first defend ant said that the second defendant's younger brother owed him 30 cents, and refused, to pay it. Witness went to the second defendant and asked him to honour his brother's debt, but the second defend- ant got angry, and the two brothers assaulted witness.
The second defendant said that the quarrel was between his brother and the first defendant, He did not take part | in it. It was true that his brother had borrowed 30 cents from the first defend. sat, but the debt had already been paid. Mr. Smith bound both defendants over in the sum of $50 each, to keep the peace for six months.
