No 189 of the 2nd October last, I have the honor most respectfully to call the

attention of Your Excellency to the extracts of Circulars quoted by them in support of a claim for £101.5.3 under the head of "Departmental Expenses, on a supply of rough timber furnished for Colonial purposes in May 1847, the value of which amounted to £675.1.9.

The Circulars referred to are

of old dates, being as far back

as 25th July 1825, and

18th June, 1832, and apply particularly to
